Sifu Tom Shinners
Sifu Tom is a Fourth Degree Black Belt and has been studying Shaolin-do since 2005. He teaches Little Dragons, Lower Rank Kung Fu on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Black Belt classes on Saturday mornings. “The thing I love about training in Shaolin is the sheer depth of the art. From the soft styles to the hard styles, empty-hand to weapons, there’s always something new to learn. And since I consider myself a student first before anything else, learning is what it’s all about for me. I’ve been very fortunate with my training in Shaolin; I’ve gotten to learn from some amazing martial artists, and train with some incredible people. This school has been like a second family for me. I would say the Hua Fist, the Drunken Style, and the Northern Longfist are at the top of my list of favorite forms, and Broadsword, Chain-Whip, and Spear for weapons.”
Sifu Dave Johnson
Sifu Dave is a Third Degree Black Belt and has been studying Shaolin-do Kung Fu since 1996. He teaches Lower Rank and Black Belt Kung Fu classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. “I have always been fascinated by martial arts, and by kung fu in particular, because of the way it uses a wide range of techniques to transform the human body into an efficient weapon. My favorite weapon is the spear because of its flow and versatility — it can be used to stab, slice or strike/block like a simple staff. My favorite animal system is the tiger for its fierceness and explosive energy.”
Sifu Ron Eckart
Sifu Ron is a Third Degree Black Belt and has been studying Shaolin-do since 2002. He teaches Lower Rank and Black Belt Kung Fu classes on Wednesdays & Saturdays.

He has been studying Shaolin-do since 2007 under Master Rick. “Shaolin is a way of life and l haven’t scratched the surface yet. The principles, the whole aspect of understanding oneself through body movements and meditation that’s life right there.”
Sifu Moses’ favorite kata is Tai Chi 64.
